  • Generative AI as an External Cognitive Tool for Developing Creative Intelligence in Visual Design

Open Access•Ziyang Huang, Jiajia Zhao et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Intelligence•2026

Generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) is rapidly transforming design education by enabling new forms of human–AI collaborative learning. However, how GenAI relates to cognitive and motivational processes in design learning contexts remains insufficiently understood. This study examines whether integrating GenAI into visual design instruction is associated with improvements in domain-specific creative performance and explores the relationship…

  • Research on the factors influencing the adoption of Aigc for design assistance among design students in higher education institutions

Open Access•Ru Zhang, Liu Y et al.•ARTICLE•Humanities and Social Sciences…•2026

In recent years, Artificial intelligence generated content (AIGC) technology has demonstrated significant application potential in the fields of design, art, and education, particularly in aiding design creation and enhancing production efficiency. However, at the same time, there are still controversies surrounding its ethical risks, trustworthiness, and technical adaptability. In design programs at higher education institutions, AIGC is gradual…

  • A Multidimensional Evaluation-Based Reinterpretation of the Cultural Heritage Value of Blue-and-White Porcelain Patterns in Contemporary Design

Open Access•Jiajia Zhao, Qian Bao et al.•ARTICLE•Heritage•2025•Referências: 5

Blue-and-white porcelain patterns embody rich symbolic meanings and play a pivotal role in the transmission of Chinese intangible cultural heritage. However, their contemporary application often faces challenges due to complex visual forms and contextual interpretations. This study adopts a semiotic perspective to reinterpret blue-and-white porcelain motifs as cultural heritage symbols, aiming to assess their potential for sustainable preservatio…

  • Validation of the digital health literacy assessment among the university students in China

Open Access•Limei Nie, Jiajia Zhao et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Public Health•2024

Purpose: With the development of the internet, digital health literacy (DHL) has become increasingly important for managing health. Consequently, various digital health literacy scales have been created for different groups. The purpose of this study was to verify the reliability and validity of the simplified Chinese version of the Digital Health Literacy Assessment (DHLA) scale among university students in China. Method: Snowball sampling was u…

  • Association between social capital, mental health, and digital health literacy among the university students in China

Open Access•Jiajia Zhao, Limei Nie et al.•ARTICLE•BMC Public Health•2024

The digital health literacy of the university student was relatively high. Both social capital and mental health could exert a positive effect on digital health literacy, while social capital was found to be positively associated with mental health. Statistical difference was found between medical students and nonmedical students on the above correlations. Implications were given on the improvement of the digital health literacy among university …

  • Does internet usage drive antibiotic reduction in China's livestock industry? Evidence from Chinese duck farmers

    Open Access•Jinpeng Dong, Liu L et al.•ARTICLE•Sustainable Futures•2024•Referências: 4

The reduction of antibiotics in livestock farming is of great significance for ensuring the safety of meat-derived food and reducing farming pollution. Agricultural technology extension can precisely, efficiently, and cost-effectively provide frontline concepts and technologies for antibiotic reduction to farmers. However, there is still a lack of empirical evidence on the impact of Internet usage on antibiotic reduction among farmers. Based on s…
