    This study used three measures of death anxiety to investigate the effectiveness of group systematic desensitization in reducing death anxiety in high death anxious participants.     A comparison of efficiency was made of group assertion therapy and group insight therapy. The two types of therapy were conducted on groups of 5 and 7 hospitalized patients, free from psychotic thought disorder. The two therapies were conducted concurrently over a 6-wk. period.
