The experiences of minority stressors endured by people who identify as Lesbian and Gay and a member of the Global Majority within the United Kingdom
Introduction Lesbian and Gay People (LGP) and people of the Global Majority (GM) experience minority stressors. Identifying as a Lesbian and Gay Person of the Global Majority (LGP-GM) creates complex minority stressors. Method A thematic synthesis of 16 qualitative studies exploring LGP-GM experiences of minority stressors using the lens of Minority Stress Theory was conducted. Trends in maternal obesity and health inequalities in a nationally representative sample of 619 323 births in England, UK, 1989–2007

Following on the work of Dunnell, the evolutionary archaeology school has made a sharp distinction between functional and stylistic variation in archaeological artifacts. The Impact of Ilderton Motor Project on Motor Vehicle Crime and Offending
This paper evaluates the effectiveness in reducing offending of Ilderton, one of the UK's best known probation motor projects. Research into car crime and into criminal careers is reviewed to investigate the basis for targeting specialist motor offenders. A comparison group methodology is used. The offending careers of 35 probationers who attended the project are compared with those of a matched group of 40 probationers who did not, using informa…

Blood group variation in the Isle of Lewis
Blood groups and protein and enzyme polymorphism distributions were studied in 285 residents on the Isle of Lewis, in the Outer Hebrides. As well as gene frequency calculations for individual loci, genetic distance estimations were made and a phylogenetic tree was constructed.
