  • Older adults and their willingness to use semi and fully autonomous vehicles: A structural equation analysis

    Open Access•Hany M Hassan, Mark R Ferguson et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Transport Geography•2021•Citada por: 1•Referências: 1

  • Design of a survey to assess prospects for consumer electric mobility in Canada: A retrospective appraisal

Open Access•Elnaz Abotalebi, Mark R Ferguson et al.•ARTICLE•Transportation•2020

  • Why is electric vehicle uptake low in Atlantic Canada? A comparison to leading adoption provinces

Open Access•Elnaz Abotalebi, Darren M Scott et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Transport Geography•2019•Citada por: 1

  • The Aggregated Spatial Choice Model vs. The Multinomial Logit: An Empirical Comparison Using Migration Microdata

    Open Access•Pavlos S Kanaroglou, Pavlos Kanaroglou et al.•ARTICLE•Canadian Geographies /…•1998•Citada por: 3

Frequently, in spatial interaction analysis, researchers are forced to use destinations that are zonal aggregates of the ‘real’ destinations perceived by the participants in the interaction process. Previous simulation studies demonstrated that, under certain circumstances, the aggregated spatial choice model can outperform the popular ordinary multinomial logit model, both in explanatory power and predictive ability. In this paper, the two model…

  • Energy-Saving Housing Improvements in Canada (1979–82): A Nested Logit Analysis

    Open Access•Mark R Ferguson•ARTICLE•Environment and Planning A…•1993•Citada por: 1•Referências: 13

The determinants of energy-saving housing improvements are analysed in the Canadian context. The data used represent the time in which the Canadian Home Insulation Program (CHIP) and the Canadian Oil Substitution Program (COSP) were operating at their peak. A nested multinomial logit model is estimated, which predicts the likelihood that individual households will carry out different retrofitting measures. In the final model, socioeconomic variab…
