The southern Nigerian copper-alloy collections cared for by the British Museum include artefacts from well-known centres – Benin, Ife, Igbo-Ukwu – and a lesser-studied group, the so-called Lower Niger Bronzes (LNBs). In this paper we use the Medical Expenditure Panel Survey between 1996 and 2002 to investigate the impact of the State Children's Health Insurance Program (SCHIP) on insurance coverage for children. Users of a community child and adolescent mental health service were surveyed, 3–4 weeks after their last contact, to determine their satisfaction with the service they received.
