  • Beyond viral suppression

Open Access•Nwanneka Ebelechukwu Okere, Veronica Censi et al.•ARTICLE•Quality of Life Research•2021

Similar HRQoL was observed in DSD and clinic-based care. Our research highlights focus areas to identify supporting interventions, ultimately optimizing HRQoL among PLHIV

  • Fetal Neurobehavioral Development

    Janet A Dipietro, Laura E Caulfield et al.•ARTICLE•Developmental Psychology•2004•Citada por: 1•Referências: 87

Longitudinal neurobehavioral development was examined in 237 fetuses of low-risk pregnancies from 2 distinct populations--Baltimore, Maryland, and Lima. Peru--at 20, 24, 28, 32, 36, and 38 weeks gestation. Data were based on digitized Doppler-based fetal heart rate (FHR) and fetal movement (FM). In both groups. FHR declined while variability, episodic accelerations, and FM-FHR coupling increased, with discontinuities evident between 28 and 32 wee…

  • Prenatal Cardiac Function and Postnatal Cognitive Development

    Open Access•Marc H Bornstein, Janet A Dipietro et al.•ARTICLE•Infancy•2002

Fetal cardiac function was measured at 24, 30, and 36 weeks gestation and quantified in terms of heart rate, variability, and episodic accelerations. Children's representational capacity was evaluated at 27 months in terms of language and play. Thirty‐ and 36‐wcek‐old fetuses that displayed greater heart‐rate variability and more episodic accelerations, and fetuses that exhibited a more precipitous increase in heart‐rate variability and accelerat…

  • Maternal stress and affect influence fetal neurobehavioral development

    Janet A Dipietro, Sterling C Hilton et al.•ARTICLE•Developmental Psychology•2002•Citada por: 5•Referências: 74

The authors investigated the association between maternal psychological and fetal neurobehavioral functioning. Data were provided by 52 maternal-fetal pairs at 24, 30, and 36 weeks gestation. The relations between maternal measures and fetal heart rate, variability, and motor activity were statistically modeled. Fetuses of women who were more affectively intense, appraised their lives as more stressful, and reported more frequent pregnancy-specif…
