This paper presents an overview of the arts‐based methodology used in a research project that aimed to explore the impact of the lived experiences of racism on 10‐ and 11‐year‐old children in the United Kingdom. Over the life course, we are invariably faced with some form of adversity. The process of positively adapting to adverse events is known as ‘resilience’.
