Porsuk – Zeyve Höyük
Durant la campagne 2021 à Porsuk – Zeyve Höyük, la fouille de la zone 6 a été menée, en continuité avec la zone 5, fouillée en 2019. Elle a permis la mise au jour des vestiges d’une fortification de l’âge du Fer, composée de briques en terre crue et d’un parement de pierres de gypse, sur la zone la plus élevée du site. Sinope et la mer
La cité de Sinope, située au milieu de la côte méridionale de la mer Noire, possède, du fait de sa position littorale, des divinités marines et maritimes dans son panthéon. Deux divinités maritimes importantes, à savoir Poséidon Hélikonios et Apollon Delphinios, ont été importées de sa métropole, Milet, tandis qu’on trouve aussi à Sinope des divinités secondaires liées à l’environnement marin, qui sont un témoignage de l’identité sinopéenne : le …

Porsuk - Zeyve Höyük
Durant les campagnes 2018 et 2019 à Porsuk – Zeyve Höyük, un travail d’inventaire et d’informatisation du dépôt de fouille a été entrepris, en parallèle avec un travail de numérisation des archives de fouilles. Une prospection géophysique a été menée sur tout le site et a permis la mise en lumière de structures radiales (d’époque hittite ?) et de structures linéaires (d’époques hellénistique et romaine ?). The visual manifestation of the recent Hale-Bopp comet reminds us how telling are those rare objects which suddenly flare in the sky. One can suppose ancient people living by natural light were more compellingly struck by the sight of comets and supernovae, and understandably researchers seek images of them in the shapes of rock-art motifs.
