Among veterans with posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and comorbid substance use disorder (SUD), stigma has been identified as a frequent barrier to help-seeking and treatment. Prospective Examination of Anxiety and Depression Before and During Confirmed and Pseudoexacerbations in Patients With Multiple Sclerosis
OBJECTIVE: This study was designed to determine whether pseudoexacerbations and confirmed MS exacerbations are preceded by or concurrent with increased anxiety or depressive symptoms. METHODS: This was a secondary analysis of 121 patients with MS who were observed for 48 weeks during a randomized controlled trial. Motivation deficits are common in high school and constitute a significant problem for both students and teachers. The Academic Amotivation Inventory (AAI) was developed to measure the multidimensional nature of the academic amotivation construct (Legault, Green-Demers, & Pelletier, 2006).
