Mental health in suburbia
This paper discusses the change in services as a suburban community mental health center divided from a central office unit into specific geographical units. Changes were found in the number of requests for service, the extent of consulation efforts, and total caseload. Mental health services in suburbia, it would appear, are significantly more likely to be used if they are close to the client.
