The dynamic complexity of cardiovascular severe maternal morbidity among Black women in North Texas
The application of SD GMB provided novel complex systems-grounded insights into the causes and consequences of CSMM among Black women in North Texas, and these insights were leveraged by stakeholders to identify potential preventive solutions to curb these outcomes. These insights led to initial answers to the four primary research questions, illustrating the dynamic complexity of the drivers of CSMM and identifying coherent preventive strategies

The aim of this study was to estimate and compare the age-specific and sex-adjusted case-fatality rates (CFRs) among Arab Americans to Hispanic, non-Hispanic Black, non-Hispanic White, and Asian adults living in Michigan. Data from Michigan's vital records, surveillance data (March 2020-July 2021), and an Arab/Chaldean surname algorithm were used. Dental Care Utilization Among Middle Eastern and North African Children in the United States
Findings suggest high dental care utilization among foreign-born MENA children. Additionally, dental care utilization for foreign-born MENA children was similar to their US- and foreign-born White peers. This study has implications for national health policy and policy reform for federal reporting standards for MENA populations
