The Dynamic Co‐Evolution of International Politics and the Global Trade Network
As globalization faces headwinds from rising geopolitical tensions, the interaction between international politics and trade has become increasingly complex. Moving beyond static gravity models, this paper examines the dynamic co‐evolution of international political relations and the global trade network. Conclusion
This chapter summarizes key insights from the case studies and tries to translate them to wider debates in migration studies. We also critically reflect on the choice of themes and countries, the methods used in the book, the positionality of the authors. Finally, we discuss some possible new directions in researching migration and the transnational circulation of racial knowledge.
