Electronic patient-reported outcome measurement was demonstrated to be sensitive and feasible for monitoring symptoms in patients with COVID-19. By integrating smartphone-based data collection with real-time online data transmission and secure data storage using Secure Sockets Layer encryption, an electronic platform for monitoring critical symptoms can be rapidly established in emergency situations
Association between spicy food and hypertension among Han Chinese aged 30–79 years in Sichuan Basin
Spicy food may lower SBP and has an antihypertensive effect, particularly beneficial for women and individuals with fewer risk factors in the Sichuan Basin. Spicy food consumption may decrease DBP in women but increase it in men. Further multicenter prospective cohort studies are needed to confirm these findings
Association between alcohol consumption and risk of stroke among adults
This study suggests moderate alcohol consumption is associated with a lower risk of total stroke. And healthy drinking patterns should be of more significant concern
