  • Integrating nature-based solutions into heritage-sensitive flood risk management

Open Access•Jianjun Li, Yukun Zhang et al.•ARTICLE•Urban Climate•2026

  • Assessing urban vitality in high-density cities

Open Access•Mo Wang, Jiayu Zhao et al.•ARTICLE•Humanities and Social Sciences…•2025

Urban vitality is a fundamental driver of sustainable urban development, yet conventional assessments predominantly rely on static urban morphology metrics or traditional survey-based approaches, which inadequately capture the dynamic interplay of human activities within urban environments. This study addresses this critical gap by introducing a computational framework that synergizes social media-derived big data with spatial accessibility model…

  • Clustering analysis of risk factors for non-suicidal self-injury behaviors in adolescents

Open Access•Xin Hou, Yuhang Wu et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Psychiatry•2025

The risk factors for NSSI behaviors in adolescents are in clusters. As the risk factors continue to cluster, NSSI behaviors can be detected more easily in adolescents. With respect to the endeavors to prevent and control NSSI behaviors in adolescents, more attention should be focused on the mental health of the adolescents who are female and attend boarding schools, whose parents have broken marriages, and whose fathers have low literacy

  • The impact of only-child status on adolescent mental health

Open Access•Jinlong He, Yunling Zhong et al.•ARTICLE•BMC Public Health•2025

This study reveals that the only-child adolescents possibly showing better psychological well-being overall in western China. This study's findings suggest that, during adolescent development, families and society should pay greater attention to the mental health of non-only children

  • The mediating role of impulsivity between sleep quality and suicidal ideation in adolescent population

Open Access•Yunling Zhong, Jinlong He et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Psychiatry•2024

The results of this study suggest that both sleep quality and impulsivity are significant direct influencers of suicidal ideation among adolescents in the region studied, with impulsivity also playing an indirect role in the relationship between sleep quality and suicidal ideation

  • Associations between coping styles, gender, their interaction and non-suicidal self-injury among middle school students in rural west China

Open Access•Jinhui Zhou, Jiazhu Zhang et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Psychiatry•2022

There is an association between coping styles and self-injury among middle school students in rural areas in western China, with gender playing a moderating role. Active attention should be paid to students' coping styles and encouraging them to adopt positive coping styles as well as avoid negative coping styles, especially in the case of girls, which can help prevent self-injury

  • Distribution and carbon isotopic composition of long-chain leaf wax n-alkanes from Holocene lake sediments in the Altai Mountains

Open Access•Qi Li, Jiayu Zhao et al.•ARTICLE•Quaternary International•2022

  • N -Alkanes and compound carbon isotope records from Lake Yiheshariwusu in the Hulun Buir sandy land, northeastern China

    Open Access•Manman Xie, Qing Sun et al.•ARTICLE•The Holocene•2020•Citada por: 2•Referências: 8

The Hulun Buir sandy land in northern China is located at the northern limit region of the East Asian summer monsoon (EASM) and is therefore sensitive to the extension of the front of the rainfall belt. Here we report an n-alkane and compound-specific carbon isotope record from the Holocene sediments of Lake Yiheshariwusu in the middle of the Hulun Buir sandy land. The sediments contain a suite of n-alkanes with a strong odd over even carbon numb…
