The impact of family support on depression among primary and secondary school teachers in China

Longitudinal associations among mindfulness, cognitive reappraisal, expressive suppression, non-suicidal self injury, and suicidal ideation among Chinese adolescents
These findings highlight the importance of fostering mindfulness and adaptive emotion regulation strategies in NSSI and suicide prevention programs for adolescents. Interventions that enhance mindfulness and promote cognitive reappraisal, while reducing reliance on expressive suppression, may effectively diminish self-injurious behaviors and suicidal thoughts among adolescents

Though a number of studies have shown positive relationships between flooding events and infectious diarrhea, there is a paucity of rigorous evidence regarding the net effect of flooding on diarrhea incidence, controlling for existing pre-trends and meteorological confounders. The study treats the 2016 catastrophic flood event in Anhui Province, China as a natural experiment using a difference-in-differences design with propensity score matching …
Assessing Spatial Accessibility to Medical Resources at the Community Level in Shenzhen, China
Spatial accessibility to medical resources is an integral component of universal health coverage. However, research evaluating the spatial accessibility of healthcare services at the community level in China remains limited. We assessed the community-level spatial access to beds, doctors, and nurses at general hospitals and identified the shortage areas in Shenzhen, one of the fastest growing cities in China. Based on hospital and population data…
