Advancing regional and community planning in Australia
Australian postwar reconstruction in the 1940s saw idealistic synergies between decentralization, regional development, and ‘new town’ planning. Two architect-planners associated with this modernising impulse were Frank Heath and Ernest Fooks. Installing solar panels on heritage buildings
Rapid greenhouse gas emission reductions are necessary to limit climate change. Barriers to emission reductions must be addressed, including in the built environment, which is one of the largest contributors.
