Use of a Behavior-Based Personality Instrument in Aviation Selection

The Measurement of the Obsessive-Compulsive Personality
The present study presents information regarding the development and validation of a new personality instrument which is intended to measure the degree of obsessive-compulsive traits. Data indicate that the instrument shows both promising reliability and concurrent validity. Developed primarily for research purposes, the scale may have therapeutic assessment applicability in a clinical setting

In analyzing attitudes toward the Equal Rights Amendment 45 undergraduate males were significantly less favorable towards its passage than 89 undergraduate females. The “masculine” males held the strongest attitudes against the ERA, while the “masculine” females appeared to view it the most favorably of the four Bem sex-role classifications. Comparison of the Quick Test and the Stanford-Binet, Form L-M for Institutionalized Mentally Retarded Adults
For 61 adult institutionalized mentally retarded individuals correlations among forms of the Quick Test and between the Quick Test and Stanford-Binet, Form L-M were significant. As expected, Quick Test forms resulted in significantly higher IQs than the Stanford-Binet. Implications of results were discussed
