  • Deep Similarity Graph Fusion for Multiview Clustering

Open Access•Weijun Sun, Zhikun Jiang et al.•ARTICLE•IEEE Transactions on Computational…•2025

The graph-based multiview clustering has gained significant attention due to its effectiveness in representing complex relationships among multiview data for enhanced clustering. Among the previous graph-based methods, the multiview graph learning (or graph fusion) technique has rapidly emerged as a promising direction, which, however, still suffers from two critical limitations. First, most of previous methods adopt a single-level of graph fusio…

  • Recent increase in snow cover as a contributing driver to autumn cooling in central Eurasia

Open Access•Baofu Li, Fangshu Dong et al.•ARTICLE•Environmental Research Letters•2025

In the context of global warming, autumn air temperatures in central Eurasia have exhibited a cooling trend over the past two decades. However, the extent to which snow cover contributes to the cooling remains unclear. This study reveals that despite a general decrease in global snow cover extent, the autumn snow cover percentage over central Eurasia has increased by 5.38% per decade in the past two decades. Quantitative assessments indicate that…

  • Projected changes of Greenland’s periphery glaciers and ice caps

Open Access•Limin Kang, Minghu Ding et al.•ARTICLE•Environmental Research Letters•2024

Rapid global warming has caused drastic mass loss in Greenland’s peripheral glaciers and ice caps (GICs), contributing to a rise of global sea levels. To better understand future changes under different emission scenarios, we used the Open Global Glacier Model to simulate glacier dynamics and runoff changes from 2015 to 2100. The results show that their area and volume will decrease by 38.88% (SSP1-2.6) to 60.84% (SSP5-8.5) and 47.56% (SSP1-2.6) …

  • A surface temperature dipole pattern between Eurasia and North America triggered by the Barents–Kara sea-ice retreat in boreal winter

Open Access•Yurong Hou, Wenju Cai et al.•ARTICLE•Environmental Research Letters•2022

The Arctic has experienced dramatic climate changes, characterized by rapid surface warming and sea-ice loss over the past four decades, with broad implications for climate variability over remote regions. Some studies report that Arctic warming may simultaneously induce a widespread cooling over Eurasia and frequent cold events over North America, especially during boreal winter. In contrast, other studies suggest a seesaw pattern of extreme tem…

  • Study on the chemical constituents of nut oil from Prunus mira Koehne and the mechanism of promoting hair growth

Open Access•You Zhou, Guangmin Tang et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2020

  • Reconstruction of surface air temperature in a glaciated region in the western Qilian Mountains, Tibetan Plateau, 1957–2013 and its variation characteristics

Open Access•Xiang Qin, Jizu Chen et al.•ARTICLE•Quaternary International•2015

  • Storage, patterns, and control of soil organic carbon and nitrogen in the northeastern margin of the Qinghai–Tibetan Plateau

Open Access•Wenjie Liu, Shengyun Chen et al.•ARTICLE•Environmental Research Letters•2012

This study tested the hypothesis that soil organic carbon (SOC) and total nitrogen (TN) spatial distributions show clear relationships with soil properties and vegetation composition as well as climatic conditions. Further, this study aimed to find the corresponding controlling parameters of SOC and TN storage in high-altitude ecosystems. The study was based on soil, vegetation and climate data from 42 soil pits taken from 14 plots. The plots wer…
