Pre-Scythian Burials at the Volkhonskiye Vyselki Barrow on the Upper Don
The paper presents and analyzes materials obtained from the study of three burials dating back to the pre-Scythian era in the Volkhonskiye Vyselki barrow, located in the north of the Don forest-steppe. Burials from the very beginning of the Early Iron Age are uncommon in this region, making each site more scientifically valuable. Children’s Burials in a Single Barrow near Nekrylovo Village (Voronezh Oblast)
The article presents the results of a study of children’s burials from a single mound near the village of Nekrylovo, Voronezh Oblast. It was revealed that children’s burials stand out among adults by their planigraphic position and the placement of the lower parts of the vessels as the only item of grave goods.
