Police stops in Germany – between legal rules and informal practices
Purpose This paper analyzes micro-political strategies that police officers use during police stops, mostly based on their professional or personal life experience. Police stops take place in an asymmetric power relationship. Actions of police officers during a stop are backed by strong legal powers, and citizens typically do not negotiate how the stop should be carried out. Prehistoric Occupation of Banyoles Lakeshore
Recent research at the Neolithic site of La Draga on the edge of Banyoles Lake (Girona, Spain) has documented evidence for the occupation of the lakeshore from the final quarter of the sixth millennium cal BC. Excavation during 2010 and 2011 identified at least two episodes of occupation. The oldest episode includes wooden structures, which were superseded and overlain by a paving of travertine blocks during the younger phase. Archaeological mate…

Marvellous preservation of organic materials at the Neolithic site of La Draga in north-east Iberia include a range of wooden harvesting tools. The authors examine the wood and flint to describe a range of the earliest harvesting techniques and their diverse applications
La Draga (Banyoles)
La Draga (Banyoles, Catalogne) est un site lacustre du Néolithique Ancien (Cardial Final), découvert près du bord de l'eau de l'étang de Banyoles en 1990. Il s'étend sur plus de 3 000 m2 desquels nous avons fouillé 284 m2 entre 1991-1992. Dans le niveau archéologique nous avons mis au jour 30 foyers, 3 plates-formes dallées, une zone de dépotoir et plusieurs trous de poteaux. 60-70 cm au-dessous du niveau archéologique nous avons trouvé les point…
