People who inject drugs understood fentanyl to be a potential contaminant in their drug supply and actively engaged in harm reduction techniques to try to prevent overdose. Interventions to increase harm reduction education and information about and access to fentanyl test strips and naloxone would be beneficial
How the rural risk environment underpins hepatitis C risk
The rural risk environment framework acknowledges the importance of community and structural factors that influence HCV infection and other disease transmission and care. We find that larger structural factors produce vulnerabilities and reduce access to resources, which negatively impact hepatitis C disease outcomes

A unique instance of railway construction in the U.S. illustrates the constraints on public enterprise in the 19th century. In spite of public ownership of an important regional line, the citizens of Cincinnati, Ohio, were unable to pursue a coherent policy for achieving their original goal: using the railway to advance the city's economic development. Foreign Direct Investment in British Retailing, 1850–1962
This article describes a newly compiled dataset on foreign multinationals in British retailing and compares the patterns of inward investment in retailing with those in manufacturing. Foreign retailers were present in Britain well before foreign manufacturers, but their numbers did not grow as dramatically after 1890. Strikingly, very few pre-World War Two foreign entrants into UK retailing were actually retailers. The great majority were instead…
