Análisis del sistema de vigilancia de los Esavi por vacunas contra la Covid-19 en Colombia, 2021-2023
The AEFI surveillance indicators for COVID-19 were met. The regulations and functions of the health authorities provided a solid basis for vaccine pharmacovigilance activities, allowing effective use of technical resources. A regulatory framework for non-COVID-19 vaccines, continuous training, and greater automation is needed in order to improve the capacity of the vaccine safety program

The National Advisory Commission has played an essential role in vaccine safety surveillance in Ecuador by ensuring reporting, causality analysis, and investigation of serious ESAVIs. Challenges were identified and will need to be addressed to maintain public trust in immunization programs
