Demand for cardiopulmonary resuscitation and bleeding control skills training in an urban region
In this community engagement feasibility review, we evaluate the infrastructure warranted to implement bystander CPR and bleeding control skills training to diverse social organizations in an urban region over an 9-month period. Further, we review the necessary variables to sustain such an effort, for both the health system as well as the partnering communities. Equipping future climate and health advocates
This study demonstrates the feasibility of implementing a locally curated HECCC in an urban setting. The study elicited teacher recommendations for further expansion, broader language translations, alignment with local state standards, and increased survey participation, especially to evaluate impact on eco-anxiety. Future plans involve expanding educator resources such as an educator's toolkit to facilitate the curriculum's adaptation in other c…
