The aim of this study was to examine the physical demands for elite female referees during competitive matches and to evaluate the relationship between match performance and fitness levels. El objetivo de esta investigacin fue analizar las caractersticas sociodemogrficas de las rbitras y rbitras asistentes pertenecientes a la primera divisin de ftbol femenino en Espaa. La muestra estuvo compuesta por 45 mujeres de nacionalidad espaola (28.114.24 aos) y fue dividida en rbitras (n=17) y rbitras asistentes (n=28).
