We expect that the provision of this innovative occupational therapy program will improve patients' outcomes and the service trajectory of people with CMD. This study will document how to enhance interprofessional collaboration within family medicine groups and to ensure equitable access to work rehabilitation services for all patients, thereby improving recovery and healthy sustainable return-to-work

This article presents a participatory action research initiative involving counsellors and parents at a perinatal and family center for drug addiction in order to reflect on what shape parental participation might take within this resource. Understanding the challenges of intersectoral action in public health through a case study of early childhood programmes and services
After two decades of intersectoral public health action, the literature reports considerable ongoing difficulty in achieving this aim. This article analyses two of the challenges of intersectoral action: (1) ensuring convergence among the interests and resources of sectoral actors, and (2) coordinating the multiplicity of sectoral programmes. In 2006, the department of public health in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, conducted the Survey of the School Readiness of Montreal Children. After unveiling the results in February 2008, it launched an appeal for intersectoral mobilization.
