  • Pregnancy and birth outcomes among young women living with perinatally acquired HIV in Thailand and Vietnam

    We conducted a retrospective cohort study of pregnancy and infant outcomes in 670 adolescents and young adult women with perinatally acquired HIV (AYAPHIV), aged 15–24 years, in Thailand and Vietnam. Between January 2013 and December 2018, there were 52 pregnancies, for an incidence of 2.49 (95% CI 1.90-3.27) per 100 person-years. The median age at pregnancy was 17.7 years (IQR 16.8-18.9).
