Personality and mental ability measures were administered to 27 pairs of children in Sri Lanka who did, or did not, claim memories of a previous life. The relation among traditional Christian beliefs, spiritualism, and the paranor- mal was the subject of a factor-analytical study to compare religious-paranor- ma1 belief structures of samples in Iceland and the United States (Louisiana, Virginia, and Illinois). In a national survey in Iceland, 31 percent of respondents reported “having perceived the presence of a deceased person.” A multinational Gallup survey conducted in sixteen western countries showed widespread claims of personal contacts with the dead, as well as, considerable national differences. 577 men and 567 women were given the 101-item version of the Eysenck Personality Questionnaire, translated into Icelandic. Although some items were inappropriate for use in Iceland, a viable scoring key was suggested and all reliabilities, except perhaps for Psychoticism, were satisfactory. The cost of treatment of dermatological disorders in hospital versus health centre
Well-run outpatient services and reasonable charges to patients for drugs have led to reduced hospitalisation of dermatological patients and hence a reduction in the total cost of nursing and treating such patients in comparison with previous years, when there was greater emphasis on hospital treatment. There is at present no waiting list for dermatological beds at the National Hospital

The cost of treatment of dermatological disorders in hospital versus health centre
Well-run outpatient services and reasonable charges to patients for drugs have led to reduced hospitalisation of dermatological patients and hence a reduction in the total cost of nursing and treating such patients in comparison with previous years, when there was greater emphasis on hospital treatment.
