This research explores the Dark Triad traits in 18 cultures from Europe, America, Africa, and Asia. We examined the relationships among Dark Triad traits, as measured by the SD3, with gender, age, social status, and two personality models, HEXACO and Zuckerman’s alternative five factor model (AFFM). Social support (family and supervisor), work–family conflict, and burnout
We examined how work-family conflict (WFC) mediated the relationship between social support (supervisor and family) and burnout, and how sex moderated this relationship ( N = 343 Spanish workers). The results sustained hypotheses in accordance with a biosocial model of sex differences. An analysis of principal components showed a robust structure of three factors formed by 25 of the 30 values studied. These factors were called Social Power, Order and Benevolence values. Those factors match with some of Schwartz's (1992) types of values. Sex differences and correlations between traits and values replicate other authors' findings.
