Decouverte en 1975 par l'URA n10 du CNRS de sites de l'Age du Bronze dans la plaine d'Ai-Khanoum. Etablissement harappeen qui aurait eu une double fonction, agricole et commerciale. Deux sondages executes en 1976 par la Delegation Archeologique Francaise en Afghanistan ont enrichi ces precisions. Sequence stratigraphique complete.
