With the Rome-based soundwalk initiative “Invisible Guides,” migrant narrators lead neighborhood tours, recounting Roman history while bearing witness to their own experiences. This essay discusses the potential for these testimonial transactions between authors, participants, and urban space to challenge the invisibilization of migrant realities within the city center
