The paper deals with materials belonging to the Neolithic era, obtained during archaeological research at the Igim site, which is located in the Menzelinsky district of the Republic of Tatarstan. The site was discovered in 1958 by an archaeological team led by A.Kh. Khalikov. In 1970–1971 excavations were carried out at the site under the direction of R.S. Gabyashev and P.N. Starostin.
