This speculative fiction is set in the context of UK Higher Education, written at a time of discontinued modules, closed programmes, and merging institutions. From this moment of precarity, I have imagined what the sector might look like by 2056 – as the capitalist regime is superseded by a climate regime, ecology overturns politics, and government is redefined as stewardship of the land. Notes from a Future Regime invites readers to imagine a vibrant future for creative learning in Higher Education – a future worth the admin
