An Intercultural Comparison of Management Values Among Business School Students and Teachers

An international comparative study to determine the hierarchy of value judgements has been conducted. Data have been collected by questionnaires involving students of several Estonian, as well as of the US, French, Russian, Finnish and Latvian universities. The purpose of the study is to find at the differences between value judgements, to assess the situation and decide whether it is necessary or possible to do anything to change value judgements or attitudes. The data from different countries are comparable thanks to using the same methodology. The dynamics of changes of the Estonian Business School students' management values might be explained with the impact of different faculties. The survey demonstrated remarkable differences in value orientation between the post-socialist countries and established democracies
