Against Positivist Historicism, which seeks in history a dead and still representation of the historical event Benjamin and Baudelaire claim a live and active relationship with the past by taking it in their dimension of narrativity. The present is always inscribes in a chain of tradition, or even in multiple chains of traditions that confront in the act of narrate. The narration, in both authors, presents itself as a political act that saves by reproducing the past and continues the chain of tradition. In this sense, we seek to establish a relationship between the sixth thesis on the concept of Walter Benjamin's story and the poem The Good dogs of Charles Baudelaire, so as to highlight this understanding of the past as a field of struggle that actively acts on the Present in this invisible dispute, a dispute that recounts more than the past itself, collectively narrates the subjects as subjects without narratives
