This study aims to analyze, through the gender category, the sexual division of labor in daily relations of family units linked to the integration system in the municipality of Forquilhinha/SC, in the productive and reproductive spheres. The research was qualitative, documentary and field and is part of the result of a doctoral thesis. Eleven producers from six families were interviewed. The research showed changes in the labor relations analyzed, especially due to technological intensity and productive specificities demanded by the industry. However, gender inequalities and the sexual division of labor persist, in accordance with activities valued according to who performs them, women or men
