The article reflects on the correlations between Communication, History and Memory, seeking to bring the three concepts closer together and further apart. In a second moment, after particularizing differences and similarities that we can perceive in this conceptual order, some paths and trails are followed that relate, in a particular way, to making visible and audible some voices of the enslaved people of the 19th century, which are configured, by materializing bodies, gestures and senses, as “uncontrolled” voices of the past
