Corinium Dobunnorum (modern Cirencester) was an important town in western Britain, its walls enclosing the second largest area (after Londinium (London) of any town in the province. It was the administrative center of the civitas of the Dobunni, and in the fourth century CE may have become the capital of the province of Britannia Prima.
