This paper describes entrepreneurial location decisions from the viewpoint of two complementary key forces, viz., the potential impact of physical infrastructure and the relevance of (non-physical) communication infrastructure. A new multiple criteria model is designed for a generalized network problem (the so-called Double Dutch location model), followed by a numerical application to the urban field of the Netherlands
