This study is an analysis of the plot against Domitian and the accession of Nerva. The conspiracy was a small palace plot best explained with reference to disaffection in the court. The praetorian guard had a major role in the accession of Nerva, and the conspirators tried to minimize any interference from the senate. Cette étude analyse le complot contre Domitien et l'accession de Nerva. La conspiration était un petit complot de palais qu'on peut expliquer par la désaffection de la cour. La garde prétorienne a joué un très grand rôle dans l'accession au pouvoir de Nerva et les conspirateurs ont tenté de réduire toute intervention du Sénat
