The archaeological richness of the state of Minas Gerais is undeniable, many sites are considered national icons by the remains that shelter and protect.The sites with human remains are part of this huge collection, but how it is and where they are?From a bibliographical review and archival research, a puzzle about funerary archeology in the state of Minas Gerais was assembled.We try here to gather all the archaeological sites and occurrences that have skeletal remains, as well as information about their destination and the works produced.These data show us the state of the art of funerary archeology and the intensity with which skeletons have or have not been studied.Data will be available openly to encourage future work and enable a collective construction of knowledge
