The election of Donald Trump has ushered into power a neo-fascist movement consisting of a coalition of fundamentalist Christian and reactionary forces. Their strategic political and social vision was laid-out in a document titled ‘Project 2025’ published by the Heritage Foundation. Progressive social movements and the left must combat the right by building a broad united front that consists of everyone from Chomsky to Cheney. But the Democratic Party centrists have shown themselves unable to lead the anti-fascist majority, and so a key task is consolidation and strengthening of progressive and Left forces in a broad pro-Democracy front
