His research interests are education policy and educational governance as well as a range of issues in comparative and international education such as convergence and divergence in education policies around the globe.Dr. Barbara Stauber is professor of social pedagogy at the University of Tübingen, Germany. She has been co-coordinator and partner in several research projects of the European Group for Integrated Social Research (EGRIS). Her research focuses on biographical transitions, youth culture, gender and diversity.Dr. Eduardo Barberis is a research and teaching fellow at the Department of Economics, Society and Politics—University of Urbino Carlo Bo, Italy. His main fields of interest are the sociology of immigration and the analysis of the local dimension of welfare policy
