Clisthène et les mesures de mobilisation

Clisthène n'a pas été seulement un réformateur politique. Il a eu à intégrer dans une armée civique toute la population de l'Attique, libérée de la tyrannie, et à organiser sa mobilisation. L'inscription des jeunes gens sur le registre du dème ou lèxiarchikon grammateion a son vrai sens dans cette optique : il s'agit de listes d'état civil formant tableaux de recrutement. Étude historique de cette expression en référence aux mots lèxiarchos et lèxis (non pas ici « patrimoine » ou « lot de terre », mais « division » de la population)
