The sites of Le Dillien (Cléguérec) and Bellevue (Neulliac) were discovered during field surveys along the Blavet river (Morbihan). The lithic items collected by Gérard Tournay are characteristic of the Danubian Early Neolithic: schist and wackestone rings, flints imported from Normandy (Cinglais) for blades, regular blades in flint and Eocene sandstone obtained by indirect percussion, Danubian and transverse arrowheads, burins on blades or flakes, truncations on blades (sickles?), borers, denticulated flakes and scrapers on flakes. The raw material acquisition system seems different from that of the V. S. G. of eastern Brittany as it consists of the use of local stones, especially Eocene sandstones. However the fact that these networks open in all directions bears witness to the economy’s dynamic aspect. We here have the most western evidence to date of Linear and Post-Linear settlements
