In I935, after three years of expounding traditionalist theory in Accidn Espanola, the outstanding Carlist intellectual, Victor Pradera, published El Estado Nuevo (The New State), a coherent if somewhat aesthetic examination of the Carlist state substantially identical with that outlined by the author's mentor Vazquez de Mella.
