En 1963, le parti Baas prend le pouvoir en Syrie. Aussitot, une opposition prend corps et ne cesse de combattre le regime desacralisant et socialisant des dirigeants. Dans ce conflit, les freres musulmans jouent un role principal en tant que porte-parole des griefs economiques et religieux. Leur principale figure pendant plus de 20 ans a ete Sa'id Hawwa, ideologue violent et intransigeant. L'article presente les fondements des ses convictions religieuses qui sont a chercher dans ses annees de formation
