La presence de potteries de la guerre de Gaza sur les sites archeologiques recents du Neguev sont un element de datation assez precis de cette guerre pour laquelle nous avons peu tres peu d'information. Etude et datation de deux tessons contemporains de la guerre de Gaza provenant du site de Beer Sheva. La couche de sediments dont ils sont issus a ete datee par analyse d'epimerisation aminoacide (amino acid epimerization analysis) des escargots qui s'y trouvaient. Le resultat donne une datation de 1700 apr. J.-C
