Osterreich's postulate about the permanent ego as the principle of unity of conscious elements, (4) E. B. Titchener's notion of consciousness as the sum total of mental processes at any given time, (5) papers dealing with consciousness from both the psychological and philosophical point of view, and (6) papers dealing with consciousness under anesthesia.
