In the present paper I show that the procedure developed in my earlier Toward a Solution to the Liar Paradox2 can be applied successfully to the paradox concerning heterological.3 As with the Liar Paradox, I present the proposed solution as an alternative to the familiar levels-of-language approach to the semantic paradoxes. I begin (Section 2) with a formulation of the Grelling, examine the language-level (henceforth, 1.1.) solution, and offer what seem to me conclusive reasons for not adopting that solution. Then (Section 3) I present a sketch of the proposed solution, elaborating in a few places where I now see how I can clarify and improve what I wrote in the above (henceforth, TSLP)
