“Disturbed by what is perceived to be large portions of theological goulash served with only a garnish of spirituality, congregations shake their heads and wonder. If the study of God does not bring one closer to God, what good is it? Even when the communication continues between congregations and seminaries, congregations have the uneasy feeling that seminaries tell what we already know in language we can't understand.”
